MT AIRY CLASSES

We are your premiere destination for tumble and stunt classes!

Our classes are all taught by our highly qualified and experienced coaches (not by assistant coaches or athletes).

Classes are open to everyone - you do not need to be a team member to register!

PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE FOR ALL CLASSES USING THE LINKS BELOW. (You must register online in advance - no drop-ins!)

Space is limited, and classes will close when full.

 

NEW! MONDAY SEMI-PRIVATE TUMBLING WITH COACH JOE V -

Classes are limited to 4 athletes

HANDSPRINGS - 4pm - Athletes will work on standing and running back handsprings

TUCKS - 6pm - Athletes will work on standing and running tucks (you must have a solid roundoff double back handspring to register for this class)

LAYOUTS AND FULLS - 5pm - Athletes will work on layout and fulls (you must have a solid roundoff back handspring tuck to register for this class)

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

MT AIRY

1. WALKOVERS AND BEGINNING TUMBLING

Tuesdays - 3pm - Madison

Tuesdays - 6pm - Bob

Athletes will work on mastering cartwheels, roundoffs, bridges, and walkovers in this class.

2. WALKOVERS AND HANDSPRINGS

Thursdays - 3pm - Madison

Athletes will work on mastering walkovers and/or back handsprings in this class.

3. HANDSPRINGS

Wednesdays - 4pm - Bob

Athletes will work on mastering back handsprings in this class.

4. TUCKS

Mondays - 3pm - Madison

Thursdays - 4pm - Bob

Athletes will work on running and standing tucks in this class. Athletes must have a solid roundoff multiple back handsprings and a solid series back handsprings to take this class.

5. LAYOUTS

Mondays - 4pm - Bob

Athletes will work on mastering running layouts in this class. Must have a solid roundoff handspring tuck to register for this class.

6. FULLS

Tuesdays - 4pm - Bob

Athletes will work on mastering running and standing fulls in this class. Must have a solid roundoff handspring layout to register for this class

7. FLYER STRETCH AND BODY POSITIONS

Wednesdays - 3pm - Madison

Flyers will work on flexibility and body positions in this class.

8. HIGH SCHOOL STUNT AND TUMBLE CLASS

Tuesdays and Thursdays - 3pm-5pm

Recommended athlete attire -
Tank or tee, shorts (preferrably with spandex underneath), cheer shoes or sneakers. No sports bras please.

At Cheer Extreme DMV, we are dedicated to providing our cheerleaders with a challenging, fun and competitive allstar program in a positive and safe environment.  We strive to create confident, motivated and teamwork-oriented individuals with outstanding athletic ability and superior leadership skills.
